Above 10,000 ft is a publication that provides content on mountaineering preparation as well as explores the effect social media has on the activity and environment. The increasing capabilities and reach of social media has had a noticeable effect on the environment.  Geo tagging and getting the perfect photo are just a couple actions contributing to environmental degradation and exploitation, as larger masses of people travel to various destinations. 

 

Having my own mountaineering and fitness experiences, I was excited to explore designing a publication that provided content pertaining to these areas, but with the caveat of making the reader aware of over exploitation via travel.
